INTRODUCTION

CTVS department at RIMS is a home to team of doctors who are trained & skilled at various premier institutes of the India.

CTVS department is located on second floor of the Super Specialty Building in the main campus. It is equipped with two modular operation rooms, 12 ICU & 4 HDU beds.

Department is providing 6 days OPD & OT with a parallel 24/7 emergency services. It is catering patients not only from Jharkhand/Bihar but other states of the country also.

Apart from routine CABG & Valve replacements, various new programs like Valve Repairs, Minimal Invasive Cardiac Surgery, and Aortic Surgery are started with good outcomes at par with the best centers in the country.

Vascular & Thoracic surgery clinics are regularly functional.
