State Centre of Excellence aims to provide high quality technical assistance to Government of Jharkhand in strengthening of Public Health Nutrition program with focus on C2IQ (High Coverage, Continuity, Intensity & Quality).
State centre of excellence for public health nutrition envisions a future where child, woman, adolescent and community attains optimal nutritional status through integrated, data driven and context specific interventions.
The centre will serve as a catalyst for research, technical, leadership, workforce development and inter sectoral convergence supporting state and district systems to effectively address malnutrition, wasting and severe wasting, micronutrient deficiencies, overweight focusing on improving balanced diet diversity amongst beneficiaries.
To generate high quality and scalable evidence for translating high-quality nutrition evidence into policy and practice.
Integrating program & practice within system for strengthening system at National, State and district level.
Pilot interventions, evaluation and approach for scalability.
Focus on hard to reach areas and vulnerable populations.
Foster multi sectoral collaborations across Health, ICDS, State Nutrition mission, National Centre of Excellence, UNICEF.
Reaching with Departments, stakeholders and CSR for engagement and sustaining the approach towards curbing malnutrition from the State.
Strengthening capabilities of workforce and institutions.
