INTRODUCTION
The department was started in 2010 in the old building ,medicine floor with Dr. Hemant Narayan as consultant .In 2014,the department was shifted to the Super specialty Block.Dr. Prakash and Dr. Prabin Kumar Shrivastava joined the department in 2015 and 2016 respectively .
Presently, Dr. Hemant Narayan is the Associate Professor and HOD, Dr. Prakash Kumar and Dr. Prabin Kumar Shrivastava are the Assistant Professors.
Dr. Soma Oraon, Dr. Purushottam and Dr. Kunal Raj are the Senior Residents of the Department.

To provide best cardiac healthcare on National front.
To create cardiologists to serve people in better ways, even in remote areas.
WORKING PATTERN
6 days a week OPD facilities and 7x24 Cath Lab facilities.
OPD – Dr. Hemant Narayan –Tuesday ,Thursday.
Dr. Prakash Kumar- Wednesday, Saturday
Dr. Prabin Kumar Shrivastava - Monday, Friday
