The Department of Pathology started in the early sixties. It has a glorious history of the able Leadership and learned teachers. The department has a team of devoted teachers. Eager to teach and serve patients.
Description
The Pathology Department is situated on the 3rd Floor of RIMS Academic complex. The Department has different sections like histopathology, cytology, Hematology and clinical section. The department assists the smooth functioning of central Pathology.
Activities
- Undergraduate - Recently” World Health Day” was celebrated by the students to raise the awareness about diabetes.
- Postgraduate- Weekly participation in seminars. Every Saturday departmental seminars are held.
Future Plans
To increase the seats for undergraduate from 150 to 250.
Facilites
- For Students - There is an air-conditioned lecture theatre equipped with audio visual system.
- For Patients- Timely and fault free reports which are prime concerns for all the staff members.
